Hideaway Lake – Pukaskwa
During the summer of 2015, I was Artist in Residence at Hattie Cove Campground, Pukaskwa National Park. The hiking trails take you through the wilderness high above Lake Superior and into a small inland lake named appropriately Hideaway Lake. The trail captures a view looking down at the lake that is surrounded by conifers reflecting into the water and edged by smoothed rock formations and lush vegetation. The still water is a contrast to the rough waters of Lake Superior just over the ridge.
