Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, lies on the north bank of the St. Mary’s River, connecting the headwaters of the Great Lakes, Lake Superior, to Lakes Michigan and Huron. The International Bridge connects Canada to the United States at Sault Ste. Marie.
